Queria ter postado essas fotos aqui no blog antes, mas a preguiça de editar as fotos correria aqui no trabalho me impediu Como vocês podem ver as fotos não foram tiradas lá no Lolla. Explico: eu e a Luana fotografamos antes de sair de casa Ela acabou levando a lomo dela pro festival, mas aparentemente perdeu o filme ~chatiadíssima~

Mal dá pra acreditar que já vai fazer quase 1 mês de Lollapalooza…

Nunca antes na vida tinha ido a um festival de tamanha grandeza (acho que é porque fico meio incomodada em lugares onde tem muita gente hahaha). No entanto, quando surgiram os boatos de que o Lolla vinha pra São Paulo eu simplesmente me deixei levar…e fiz um buraco enorme na minha conta bancária.

Não me arrependo por nada, valeu cada centavo. Nada poderia ter sido mais incrível do que ver tantos artistas talentosíssimos cantando e dançando, fazendo a galera pirar, gritar e pular. O show do Foo Fighters foi simplesmente maravilhoso. Não consigo traduzir em palavras o quanto foi especial ver a banda finalmente ao vivo. O pique dos caras é surreal, com certeza uma das bandas com mais presença de palco que já vi na vida! Eles comandaram a noite sabendo que tinham todo mundo na mão.
Acho que a única coisa que me deixou decepcionada nesse primeiro dia foi a completa desorganização no transporte público; quem tentou pegar o metrô sabe: foi CAÓTICO!

Se o Foo dominou o primeiro dia de festival, o segundo dia foi liderado pelo Skrillex. O cara animou o público como NINGUÉM (e mandou BEM melhor que o Calvin Harris – just sayin’!), acho que nunca antes na minha vida tinha dançado tanto e me divertido como no show dele. YO SKRILL DROP IT HARD!

A pergunta que fica é: QUANDO TEM MAIS? Lolla 2013, VEM!

I can’t believe it’s been almost a month since Lollapalooza…

I guess I’ve never been to such a great festival in my life (mostly because I hate being in really crowded places hahahah). But, when people started talking about that Lolla was coming to São Paulo I stopped thinking twice…and made a hole on my bank account.

I don’t regret nothing, it was worth every penny. Nothing could have been more incredible than watching so many artists dancing and singing, making people scream and jump. Foo Fighters concert was absolutely amazing, I can’t put down in words how special it was for me to see them live. They are absolutely unbelievable. They knew they had everyone on their hands.
The only thing that made me sad at the first day was the complete lack of organization on the subway. It was absolute CHAOS!

If Foo Fighters ruled on the first day, the second one was all about Skrillex in my opinion. The guy was energetic!  I’ve never danced and had so much fun in my life!  YO SKRILL DROP IT HARD!

The question now is: When we will have some more? Lolla 2013, I’M WAITING FOR YOU!

Olá gente linda! Tudo bem com vocês?

Quem me tem no facebook já sabe que tenho novidades…3 novidades, pra ser mais específica hahahah
Pois é minha gente, finalmente me tatuei!

Sempre quis ter tatuagens (desde que tinha 13 anos), mas meu pai nunca deixou por causa da idade. Ainda bem que ele tinha juizo ahaha! Acho que teria me arrependido muito se eu tivesse feito isso tão jovem. De qualquer forma, a ideia de ter tinta no corpo nunca saiu da minha cabeça. Ano passado até cogitei a possibilidade de fazer, mas não rolou por falta de grana.

E quem diria que após 8 anos finalmente minhas vontades se concretizariam?

Pensei bem no que ia fazer, pesquisei estúdios bacanas, juntei o dinheiro, marquei a sessão e ontem – no horário de almoço – fiz 3 tatuagens. A primeira foi a palavra “courage” (coragem, em francês); a segunda, no pulso, representa as iniciais dos meus pais (A de Alejandro e J de Juliana); e a terceira (minha preferida, atrás da orelha) foi uma homenagem a minha vó querida (nonna, em italiano). Lembro que peguei a letra dela de uma carta antiga e levei isso como material pro João (meu tatuador) fazer igual. A tatuagem ficou PERFEITA, e o fato de ser ‘dela’ tornou a experiência muito mais especial. Carregarei minha nonna pra sempre comigo

Não tenho nem palavras pra explicar o quanto eu estou feliz e apaixonada pelas minhas tatuagens (acho que a última vez que fiquei tão feliz foi quando ganhei a mansão da Barbie com 6 anos, hahahahah). Fiz todas elas no estúdio Tattoo You com o querido do João Chavez. O cara manda MUITO! Se vocês tão afim de se tatuar e ainda não sabem onde, vão lá! O estúdio é demais, a galera é atenciosa e o resultado é fenomenal, não tem como errar. Eu com certeza vou voltar lá pra fazer mais ainda este ano!

Hello pretty people. How are you?!

For the ones who have me on Facebook, you could say I have some news…3 brand news, actually. Yeah, I finally got tattooed!

I’ve always wanted to had tattoos (since I was 13), but my dad never let me because of my young age. I’m happy he got my feet on the ground back then, I guess I would have regretted it. Anyways, the ideia of getting inked never left my mind. Last year I even thought about it but I didn’t had enough money to do it. 

And who would say that after 8 years I would finally have them?

I thought a lot about what I was going to get, I started searching for studios, raised the money, scheduled the session…and yesterday, at lunch time, I got 3 tattoos. The first one says “courage” (I know the word is the same for english, but its supposed to feel like its french haha ); the second one, on my wrist, are the initials of my parents (A for Alejandro and J for Juliana); and the third one (my favorite, behind my ear) was a tribute to my beloved grandma (nonna, in italian). I got that font on a letter she sent me a while ago and João (the guy who did my tattoos) just replicated it with perfection. The fact that it is actually ‘hers’ makes it even more special. I’ll take her with me forever.

I don’t even have words to explain how happy and in love I am with these beauties (I guess the last time I was that happy was long time ago, when my dad gave me the Barbie’s mansion lol). I did them all at Tattoo You studio with the dearest João Chavez. He is absolutely awesome! If you’re thinking of getting inked around São Paulo that’s the best place you could ever go. The studio is awesome, people are great and the result is phenomenal. I’ll probably be back, after vacation!

Hey, hey, hey! Como vocês estão!? <3

Estou aqui hoje para algumas notícias

Há algum tempo eu estava pensando sobre meu blog e sobre como fazer algo completamente diferente de tudo aquilo que a gente vê diariamente. O último post que fiz sobre inspiração simplesmente não saiu da minha cabeça. Por causa dele, fiquei dias seguidos tentando imaginar uma maneira de tornar este espaço realmente único e inspirador; afinal, foi esse o motivo principal por trás de sua criação.

Bem,no meio desses devaneios….me veio uma ideia: e se eu começasse a produzir material em video para o blog? Sei que muitos blogueiros já fazem isso, inclusive gravando seus looks diários para dividi-los com os leitores. Considerei as possibilidades, mas quis levar a ideia de video mais adiante. Um look por um look em video não representa absolutamente nada na minha cabeça; não é novo. Mãssss, e se por trás das roupas apresentadas existisse um conceito, uma verdadeira inspiração, uma referência bacana que pudesse ser passada pra frente?

O fato é que resolvi contar essa loucura toda para meu amigo Marlon (esse lindo que está nas fotos comigo ). Para minha completa e absoluta sorte, ele não só gostou da ideia como também topou fazer isso comigo. Sabe quando você encontra aquela pessoa com a qual o trabalho simplesmente flui de uma maneira extraordinária e criativa? Bem, pra mim essa pessoa é o Marlon. Neste final de semana gravamos bastante material para o primeiro video editorial deste blog, e eu estou animadíssima para dividir essa experiência com vocês.

E enquanto o video não fica pronto, aqui estão algumas fotos teaser do nosso trabalho. Espero que gostem!

I’m here today to bring some great news

A couple of weeks ago I started wondering about my blog and how I could do something completely different than what people see everyday around the blogosphere. The last post I did about inspiration was still all over my head. Because of it I spent days trying to figure out a way to make this place really unique and inspiring; after all, that was my main goal when I created it.

Well, in between these crazy thoughts…I had this idea: what if I started producing video material for the blog? I know many bloggers already do that, and they even get their looks on tape to share them with the reader. I considerer the possibilities, but I wanted to take this video thing a step further. Only recording a “look of the day” is ok, but it’s not something really different or new. But, what if – behind all the clothing and styling – there was a true concept, a real inspiration, a cool reference that could be shared?

Fact is, I went after my dear friend Marlon (the good looking guy with me at the pictures ) to tell him this crazy idea. I had this shot of good luck when he told me that he not only liked it, but he was actually looking forward to team up with me and make it happen. You know when you find this person with whom the work just flows in a extraordinary and creative way? Well, for me that’s Marlon. We spent the weekend recording and shooting a lot of material for the first editorial video for the blog. I AM SO EXCITED YOU DON’T EVEN HAVE AN IDEA. I so want to share this new experience with you!
